Limited Lifetime Warranty on Wood Framed Items

We guarantee that all wood-framed soft seating products manufactured by Vintage Leather will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the product.

Coverage Includes:

• Structural integrity of the wood frame
• Any manufacturing defects in the wood used in the frame
• Cracking or breaking of the frame due to defective materials or craftsmanship

Exclusions:

• Damages caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
• Normal wear and tear, including scratches or minor dents
• Changes in the wood’s appearance due to environmental factors, such as color fading or warping

 

5-Year Warranty on Foam Products

We offer a 5-year warranty on all foam products used in our soft seating items. This warranty ensures that the foam will maintain its structural integrity and performance under normal use.

Coverage Includes:

• Defects in the foam material that affect the seating comfort and quality
• Loss of cushioning or compression due to manufacturing defects

Exclusions:

• Foam compression due to normal use (e.g., softening of the foam over time)
• Damage from external factors such as spills, stains, or physical trauma
• Any misuse, improper handling, or failure to maintain the foam according to the recommended guidelines

Due to the inherent nature of upholstered soft seating, this warranty will not cover:

• Fade of fabric, leather or vinyl due to exposure to sunlight, cleaning materials or normal use
• Dye lot variations
• Puddling, wrinkles or natural draping of fabric, vinyl or leather around curves, corners, or irregular surface lines and seats
• Textile properties including but not limited to; pilling, colorfastness, aging, puddling or abrasion
• Pattern matching on textiles with repeat, distinct patterns
• Any damage, wear, or failure due to the use of unapproved replacement components, devices or products used with, on or in the Covered Product

 

General Warranty Terms and Conditions:

• • Warranty Period: The warranty period begins from the date of purchase.
  • Proof of Purchase: To activate the warranty, a proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) must be provided.
  • Warranty Claims: Warranty claims must be submitted to Vintage Leather customer service with a detailed description of the issue. If the product is determined to be defective, Vintage Leather will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or provide a credit for the defective item. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING COST ON ALL WARRANTIED ITEMS.

• Due to the inherent nature of upholstered soft seating, this warranty will not cover:

• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or failure to maintain products in accordance with the care instructions. It also excludes damages from accidents or natural disasters.
  • Warranty is subject to the following limitations and exclusions:
  • •Damage caused by a non Virco/Vintage Leather carrier
  • •Normal wear and tear
  • •Defects caused by improper installation, or improper maintenance of product
  • •Damage caused by improper use or abusive handling of product, as well as unapproved alterations or modifications to product
  • •Variation in color for materials such as fabrics occur intrinsically and are not considered to be defects
  • •Customer’s own materials and fabrics that have failed Vintage Leathers internal testings standards are not warranted
  • •Failure to follow instructions or information on warnings
